Help us build a water well at a girls school in Kenya.

This project will provide a new water well at Shisango secondary girls school in a remote area northeast of Kakamega in western Kenya.

The well will serve 500 people, including the girls school, a neighboring secondary school, and the surrounding community.

The funds will be used for the following expenses:

  1. $500 geological survey and report for drilling location
  2. $2000 drill rig, operator, and support crew
  3. $200 concrete mix and labor
  4. $450 piping
  5. $450 pump
  6. $3000 local staffing for project management
  7. $1500 well monitor to gauge flows and problems remotely
  8. $5000 ongoing maintenance for future

Our local partners are the Bridge Water Project for local project management and implementation. Staff from our US office will oversee the process and local team.

This project is planned to begin construction within 30 days of reaching its fundraising goal.
